What began as a mother's wish to document the child-rearing techniques she and her husband used with their two sons blossomed into a book and a busy new consulting career! Marilyn Goddard authored Pass It On: A Guide to Navigating the Public School System, and tackled the task of marketing the book with the help of her husband, Lawford. They enrolled in Start Up's Spring 2001 Entrepreneur Training class, graduated, and promptly co-founded Kaimit Enterprises, a home-based educational planning and consultation business which focuses on family-centered educational guidance to bring out the best in young students.
