Alma Rosa Gonzalez, a graduate of the Fall 2001 Entrepreneur Training
class in Spanish, shares company ownership of her East Palo Alto-based
business, Arsara Care Giver, with her husband Salvador Martinez, also a Fall
2001 graduate. Arsara Care Giver provides complete personal care services
for the elderly, including assistance with medical appointments, medication,
meals, personal hygiene, and physical therapy. Alma and Salvador believe in
treating their clients “like family,” and, in fact, plan to open their own
nursing home within the next couple of years. Arsara Care Giver operates
on-call.
